Finnish Pantheon Mythology Chart

I (Joshua J Kes) am passionate about mythology and anthropology. I have a B.S. in Geography and Sociology; the study of places and people, respectively. I've been working on a database for comparative mythological studies for a few years now, and thought I'd put together some slick informative charts/posters of family trees for various pantheons.

My methodology of comparison for mythological motifs (the first copy) usually involves planetary or astrological associations, but this time, I used a simple coding system including 17 motifs/archetypes/codes, each color-coded and in order from left-to-right:

1. HEARTH - Fire, Blacksmithing, or Domestic Deities like Ilmarinen.
2. EARTH - Earth, Fertility, or Wild Deities like Maahetar and Kalev.
3. SKY - Sky, Storm, or Messenger Deities like Ukko and Ilmatar.
4. WATER - Sea, River, or Wellspring Deities like Ahto and Vellamo.
5. CHTHONIC - Underworld Deities like Tuoni and Loviatar.
6. DAY - Sun or Light Deities like Paivatar.
7. NIGHT - Moon, Night, or Dusk Deities like Kuutar.
8. LOVE- Dawn, Love, Muse, or Justice Deities like Aamutar and Lempo.
9. WAR - War Deities, which are not present in this chart.
10. DEMIGOD - Demigods or Heroes, which are not present in this chart.
11. MONSTER - Monsters or Spirits like the Sotka Duck and Surma.
